When in actuality, the airplane you jump from can set the tone for your whole skydive. Skydiving airplanes can affect comfortability, jump altitude, and how long it takes to get to the desired altitude. 

At Skydive Tecumseh, we have a Beechcraft King Air – known as the fastest aircraft in Michigan! Our Beechcraft King Air can carry up to 14 passengers up to 14,000 feet in just about eight minutes tops! We also have a PAC750XL which can hold up to 12 jumpers! With our All-Star fleet, jumping with friends and family is a breeze. Our aircraft is a big reason jumpers from all around Michigan come to us, and you’ll see why!

Choose Your Altitude

As we’ve said before, the type of aircraft you skydive from can impact your jump altitude. With our fantastic fleet of aircraft, we not only have the ability to take you up higher than any other dropzone in Michigan, but we also give you three different altitude options: 

• 9,000 ft – about 30 seconds of freefall
• 14,000 ft – about 60 seconds of freefall
• 18,000 ft – about 90 seconds of freefall

A jump from 18,000 ft is almost unheard of at the majority of skydiving centers in the United States – mostly because it requires the use of supplemental oxygen, and only certain aircraft are equipped with this capability.
