Since 1964, Skydive Tecumseh has been Michigan’s premier dropzone and the destination for college and university groups from all over the state and beyond. We have hosted Outdoor Adventure programs, fraternities, sororities, club socials, and collegiate fundraising events. We have garnered this trust because of our world-class, purpose-built facilities, professionalism, and passion for what we do!
Skydive Tecumseh is unlike most skydiving centers in the United States. Our operation was built exclusively for group skydiving – we are not an old hangar with old planes and tired equipment. Our state of the art facility is a major training center offering turbine aircraft ideal for accommodating large groups in clean and modern facilities. Our staff is comprised of instructors passionate about the sport, and we maintain a safety-focused culture. Our equipment is well-maintained and from the leading manufacturer in the industry. We take our fun, seriously!
No other dropzone in Michigan can rival our facilities and ability to host groups!
Booking your college group is simple! Once the first reservation is scheduled, a unique Group Booking ID will be created allowing others to add themselves to the group independently. Additionally, Group Leaders have the ability to reserve everyone at the same time. Group discounts will be applied at check-in based on the group size.
Group leaders: If you’re a group leader, feel free to download this pamphlet to share with your group.
Skydiving isn’t without risk. Our attorney would want you to know that you can die doing this activity. However, the risk quotient for tandem skydiving, when compared to other outdoor activities like whitewater rafting or rock climbing, is deemed “acceptable” by the thousands of people who skydive with us every year! Naturally, what is “acceptable?” In 2023, there were 10 skydiving fatalities out of approximately 3.65 million jumps made by USPA Members. This equates to .27 deaths per 100,000 jumps. The fatality rate for tandem skydives is even less. For a full detail on the safety of skydiving, visit the United States Parachute Association’s report on skydiving safety.
Yes, if your group is interested in having one of our team members make a presentation about skydiving and what to expect, we’d be happy to coordinate with you provided your location is within a reasonable distance from our location.

Yes. If you are shorter than 5’9″, there is a maximum weight limit of 225 lbs. This weight should factor in clothes and shoes.
If you are taller than 5’9″ and weigh between 225-240 lbs, we can accommodate you for an additional $25.00 fee. The surcharge reflects the additional challenges and efforts required by instructors for heavier students, and is not meant to be discriminatory. It’s a measure to ensure instructors are adequately compensated for the extra physical demands they may encounter, while maintaining a commitment to inclusivity and fair treatment for all clients.
I've been here 2 times now and both times have been the experience of a lifetime! I plan on going again next summer as well. When people ask "why jump out of a perfectly good airplane" I reply with "because it's a perfectly good plane to jump out of!!" The people here are amazing and every time someone is looking for a good place, skydive Tecumseh is the only place that I recommend. I also like the fact you can donate the little bears too!!
