Rise and shine! Start your weekend off right with a tandem skydive! Why wait? There’s no time like the present to make a positive change, and skydiving is a great way to shake up the status quo and step into your best self. It’s time to take charge and leave your comfort zone!
Do you know how they say the early bird gets the worm? Well, this is definitely the case for our weekend tandem students who book for the slots at 8 am, 9 am, and 10 am. The Rise and Shine tandem skydive is a premier skydiving experience for those who like to get the good times going while everyone else is still asleep. Need a little convincing? Here are four reasons why it’s best to schedule first thing in the morning.
There’s no denying that patience is a virtue, but if you can spend less time waiting and jump right to the part where you’re having fun … well, why wouldn’t you? For those of us who would rather skip the queue, the Rise and Shine tandem skydive is the way to go.
Despite our best efforts, wait times will build throughout the day. We recommend that customers plan on spending much of the day with us, sometimes as much as four to five hours on site. This is for four primary reasons: 1) weather delays; 2) the delicate balance of scheduling student and licensed skydivers, our instructors, and slots on the aircraft; 3) the precious time built in between every load for checking equipment, ensuring skydiving harnesses are fit properly, and assuaging student fears; and 4) ensuring everyone has the best experience possible.
Ultimately, the way to beat the wait is by scheduling for the first time slots of the day.
There is something especially invigorating about the atmosphere as daylight breaks. The crisp, cool air makes everything feel fresh and new. The sun wraps everything in a golden hue, and despite the growing light, everything is still, quiet and serene. The world is barely stirring.
The awesomeness of the morning air is what inspires overachievers to wake up just before the sun to get their day going with a walk or jog – and you can do it with a skydive! If you thought the view first thing in the morning was amazing from the ground, wait until you see the sun bathing the earth in light from beneath a parachute. It’s an experience well worth the early wake-up call.
There’s nothing worse than anxiously awaiting your skydive for weeks – only to have it thwarted by the weather! Now, while we can’t predict what decisions Mother Nature will make, we can tell you that another reward reaped from embracing your inner early bird is better weather for your skydive!
Summer is one of the most popular times to skydive for good reason, but the season can be rife with afternoon storms. As the sun heats the earth, warm air rises; an upper atmospheric motion that meteorologists refer to as convection. As the water vapor within that warm air cools, it condenses into clouds. The more moisture-dense the clouds are, the more likely they are to form a thunderstorm – and attempting to skydive amongst torrential winds and rain is never a good idea.
As a general rule, in the morning, when the sun hasn’t yet heated things up, substantial convection is less likely to occur – meaning there’s less chance for dense cloud cover or thunderstorms. By choosing to skydive in the morning, you give yourself the very best chance of avoiding tempestuous weather.
If you’re hoping to carpe diem (seize the day) you’ve gotta start bright and early with a little ole cup of carpe mane (seize the morning)! Skydiving first thing in the morning will have you soaring on cloud nine and leave you ready and raring to conquer whatever comes next! Who knows, you might just choose to capitalize on that epic adventure potential with a full day of fun!?
It’s time to Rise and Shine! #beyourbestself and schedule your tandem skydive today!
