College Weekend Comes to Skydive Tecumseh

It’s a first and it won’t be the last! Skydive Tecumseh has a new event on our calendar and we couldn’t be more excited about it! COLLEGE WEEKEND!

Why Care?

In a word. Money. As in BIG SAVINGS experiencing the world’s greatest adventure!

College students are the ideal demographic for skydiving, but did you know the average age of people who make a skydive is between the ages of 25 and 44? The obvious reason is money. Skydiving isn’t the cheapest activity in the world and is why students between the ages of 18 and 24 aren’t taking to the skies more often. Between the cost of books, rent and hustling a part-time job, skydiving doesn’t usually sit high on the priority list. Sooooo….. we’re trying to change that!

What Is It?

College Weekend is about fun, adventure and hanging out with some very cool people from different colleges and universities from across the mitten!

Students from all over Michigan will be converging at Skydive Tecumseh on either September 29th or September 30th (Saturday or Sunday) to exit from our King Air rocket ship from 14,000 feet! Skydiving on either of these dates will save college students, staff and faculty $50 – it’s our best deal of the season from 14,000 feet!

Football Schedule

Michigan (AWAY) at Northwestern

GO BIG BLUE!!! The Wolverines are traveling away to Northwestern. Plan to book your skydive in the morning or afternoon depending on game time, otherwise if you’re a die hard and don’t want to take any chances, plan to skydive on Sunday following the win over the Wildcats.

Michigan State hosts Central Michigan

Spartans, game time is yet to be announced so you may want to watch as to whether you should book in the morning or afternoon depending on game time. Otherwise, join us on Sunday!

Notre Dame hosts Stanford @ 7:30pm

The Fighting Irish host Stanford at 7:30pm in PRIMETIME!!! This will be a huge game. Skydive with us at midday on Saturday and be back in time for the tailgate party! Wishing Notre Dame luck

as this will be the biggest game for the weekend in our region!

• Click on the arrival time of your choosing
• Input how many jumpers in your party (1 if yourself only)
• Input your contact information for each person in your party

*Participants will be required to show valid Student or Faculty ID on the day of the skydive!

The Fine Print (the stuff you should pay attention to)

• 18 Years of Age. If you’re smarter than the average bear, you may not be old enough! All guests must be at least 18.
• Weigh No More Than 230lbs. All guests cannot weigh more than 230lbs. This weight should factor in clothes and shoes. Guests should be height/weight proportionate. Weight restrictions are established by manufacturers’ equipment restrictions. Please note, we do weigh all guests prior to jumping to ensure weight requirements are met.
